Making Custom Motorcycle Seats Truly Custom

The opportunity to customize the very seat of a bikers favorite ride adds another level to the popular motorcycle adage of ‘making it your own.’

This level of customization is being offered by Danny Gray, a manufacturer that has been creating high performance, purpose built seats for forty years. Making products for leading manufacturers such as Harley Davidson, as well as being the choice of top builders for one-of-a-kind seats for their custom bike creations, Danny Gray claims to have ‘provided more custom seats for more projects to more builders than any other single manufacturer in the world’.

1936 Harley Davidson Barn Find

1936 Harley Davidson Barn Find
TRUE barn find!!! And "yes" the engine does turn. This bike has been kept in a barn for 30 years+. It is 95% original from what i can see. It has the following original parts, Frame, Fenders, Handlebars, Engine, Dash, Speedo (Corbin) very expensive, springer front end, Horn, Headlight (cycle ray), Primary cover, Tool Box, Seat, Floor boards, Rims and Tires (Firestone), they even seem to be original and from the looks of the wear on the floor boards, it doesn't seem like it was ridin much i reckin'. I've seen these bikes go for 30-40K restored and not with this many original parts. And the icing on the cake is that it comes with a 1936 California Title. Buyer is responsible for shipping and a $1000 deposit is required at end of bid. It is "BUY AS IS" Or it goes to the next bidder. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements, my ZIP CODE is 92501.

The LiveWire From Harley Is As Beautiful As It Is Technologically Proficient

The LiveWire from Harley is as beautiful as it is technologically proficient

Change is coming and battle lines will be drawn over whether or not an electric motorcycle is righteous enough. And to be honest, we couldn't walk further away from such a conversation. Getting greasy on the shop floor is a right of passage, but this two wheeled piece of technology is just begging for a back country road from us...

Harley Davidson Innovates The Live Wire Into A Multicultural and Forward Thinking Machine Of Change

Profile full body photograph of Harley-Davidson’s 2014 battery powered motorcycle, taken on June 5, 2014 at the Harley-Davidson headquarters in Milwaukee, WI.
Innovation is what keeps a company ahead of the curve. For many years now Harley purists assumed that chrome and a loud engine were all that was needed to keep the Milwaukee bred spirit alive. Today is a new day though and Harley as a company wants to expand across cultures and multiple generations. Bravo to their design team and forward thinking engineers for creating one of a hell of a ride.

Beauty Through Simplicity, A 1948 Panhead That Needs Little To No Introduction

1948 Panhead found via ebay, which is now no longer for sale.
"I do believe in simplicity. It is astonishing as well as sad, how many trivial affairs even the wisest thinks he must attend to in a day; how singular an affair he thinks he must omit. When the mathematician would solve a difficult problem, he first frees the equation of all incumbrances, and reduces it to its simplest terms. So simplify the problem of life, distinguish the necessary and the real. Probe the earth to see where your main roots run." - Henry David Thoreau

Thank You Ohio For Good Friends And Motorcycles

Oh Panhead, let me rescue you back to North Carolina
Weekends come and go like the sun sets each day and brings about the change of light to dark. But every now and then you get to have a weekend where it seems to shine in perpetuity. While up in Columbus, Ohio last Friday through Sunday we worked on a quick little documentary about Fred Workman of the Big Bike Shop and talked on quite a few of his incredible builds. Hopefully we will be able to launch that video project in the coming weeks.

If there is one bike shop to obtain all the information you need to know about how to work on any Harley of any make or to find that rare Knucklehead gasket, the Big Bike Shop is the answer. Fred is as humble as they come and seeing him smile while talking on his projects is truly a rare find. I feel honored to have spent a few hours hanging out at the shop and getting a few of his stories on film. Also big thanks to the entire Ohio Posse for always making a good time even better. Muchos Gracias to Tyke, Brad and Sherwood for being hombres.

Can't wait to be back in a few months to run the Ohio Mile

Finding The Soul Of A Motorcycle In India

New Delhi Motorcycle Company shows defines the term soul, when talking about motorcycles

"We at "Colorblind" had been looking for a real story to tell since sometime. A story which real people could have related to, that could have touched hearts, that could have created goosebumps in a way that it did to us. We are just like you so here is a story for you. Finding story took us to many places, people, ideas and then it struck us that careers are not confined to cubicals, certificates, degrees, universities, interviews or job placements. Far away from the world of doctors, engineer, management gurus there lies a world of engine oil, brakes, gear but not into a shiny automobile showrooms but a dirty, clumsy mechanic's shop in a chaotic old delhi's narrow gali. Colorblind wants to extend a special thank to Bobbee Singh( aka Bullet Raja), who introduced us to this world. So here's presenting a tribute to these maestros whose oil coated blackend hands carved the Bullet Beauty for many of us Bullet Lovers."

Short Film - The Glint - Featuring Comete Motocycle

"There is a light that never goes out. It dwells deep inside us, giving us motivation and shaping our path.
That light is the flicker of creation.
The spark of an idea.
The outline of a design.
It is the desire that stokes our passions and makes us strive to go further.
This internal fire feeds our dreams and puts a glint in our eye.
It is the energy that ignites our creativity.
It tills the land.
It shapes and gives life to the medium being crafted.
Every creation is imbued with the being that created it, as if the medium is breathing in the spirit of the craftsman.
Isn't that the most beautiful way of leaving a trace of our existence, of our time on this earth?
To create is the only way to traverse time, to wander through the ages.
It is the only way to become immortal, to be infinite.
If this light goes out, we die."

Some Days We All Just Need A Bit More Porn

Lowered and with a perfect stance, damn beautiful Dyna

Some days we all could use just a bit more porn in our lives, make that bike porn...

"The show took place on March 2, 2013 at the same place as last year, the amazing old building from the early 1800′s that used to be an old steel mill. But once again we rolled in another kind of massaged steel; choppers, bobbers, custom bikes and even a few vintage races. So enjoy these great pictures taken by Wictor Bergqvist of www.mandit.org."
