Tim Bradham's Chassis Works - Fabrication Guru
Well, the gauntlet has been throw down and answered paid in full by none other than Tim Bradham Chassis Works. Met up with Tim via mutual friends in the Road Devils Car Club and after seeing his work I feel as if my jaw needs to be wired back into place. With the skills of a seasoned fabricator and the craftsmanship of a man who knows no limits, his output is utterly amazing. Hell, just take a look at the samples below. Whether it be bike, hotrod or racing machine, Tim Bradham takes the science of metalurgy and bends it into a form utilizing horsepower, engineering and pure bravado.

The Road - A Book By Touring Musicians
Leave it up to the fellas in Antiseen and numerous other bands to come forth with buck wild stories from the road. For those of ya that don't get to see a lot of truck stops, graffiti ridden bathrooms and backstage antics this collection will surely be a bona fide good read. Kind of reminds me of the time that a certain hooker was trying to get into a sold out show and her name wasn't on the guest list, yet she provided me with a personal check from her most recent fling and that name was on the guest list. Surely more tales like this will be in the book.
From The Author
"Life on the road can be a real bummer sometimes. Hear from some of Rock's most travelled musicians in this rowdy collection of real accounts of life on the Rock & Roll trail. From flat tires to flaming Margueritas, this first ever anthology of behind the scenes stories from bands around the world gives new meaning to the phrase, the show must go on..."

Hellbound Glory - Album Of The Year
Hopefully all of yall have had the chance to listen to Hellbound Glory's latest album "Old Highs & New Lows". It's a roller coaster of an album taking you over peaks and valleys highlighting the bands tight grip on its outlaw country sound, with an amazing vocal presence from Leroy Virgil. We can't say enough about the album or the fellas in general as they are great folks and we are damn proud to be working with them. Give them a listen and vote for them on Saving Country Music dot com for album of the year.

Motus Motorcycles
Been diggin' through news posts and checking out the vibe on whats happening with the new upstarts over at Motus Motorcycles. They have been deep in the trenches working on their new style of American sportbike with a liquid cooled, 90 degree v4 engine based on pushrod American muscle car architecture. Now if this doesn't sound daunting and a bit more than your local back yard assembler, then I don't know what is. Bravo to these guys for pushing the boundaries of whats possible with motorcycles in the engine compartment and for putting it into an aggressive performance driven bike. Really interested to see a matchup between this engine and a Buell Rotax engine on the track.

Amazing Welder - Brown Dog Welding
I don't know about yall but some things in life, you just kick yourself about. "Why can't I be better at this, why can't I do that" yadda yadda, the shit that we muster up in our sub conscious. Well I tell ya what, here is a challenge, find me a better welder and or fabricator than Josh over at Brown Dog Welding. Think of this as a forum, if you are a welder and or a fabricator send over your work to show the crowd what ya bring to the table. I know there are a lot of folks that can lay down a bitchin' line of weld puddles, but we want to see them. This goes out to Brown Dog Welding for being such a great link on Flickr and for making welding look so damn easy. Dude you flat out rule with a tungsten rod and inert gas and probably most every other welding technique available? What about gas welding though?

Moto Destructo - Recording & Sound Engineering
Not sure if any of yall knew this but our good buddy Jay Berndt, yeah, you know the guy. The dude with the big vocals being compared to Lemmy, A gospel choir and Mike Ness all in one, actually has a killer studio up in Rhode Island. Whether he is etching away on his own material, recording songs for the Broadside Basement Sessions or working with a cast of local characters in the North East, ol' JB can be found deep in his sound laboratory. It's one of those rare gems of a place that when you walk in, you just feel right at home. With that in mind, be on the lookout for quite a bit of new material coming out of the Moto Destructo sound lab and check out our latest design for one of their shirts, available in a week or so.

Automatically Hardening Body Armor
I figured at one point the technology would exist allowing for a flexible and automatically hardening type of material for racing gear or other types of sports. If it exists in nature and in comic books, surely some lab rats out there thought the same thing and finally came up with a great solution. Apparently that lab genius goes by the name of the Frank Stubbs Company who was working with Dow Corning. This material looks light and perfectly suitable for the new racing suit that I will have to get for doing land speed racing. Amazing how the pieces are all coming together so I can launch down the tarmac, salt flats and dry lake beds on my ever evolving Buell Street Fighter part Land Speed Racer.

Graffiti From Afghanistan
Found this post on a news site a while back. Its a simple reminder that no matter where humans exist, they will always leave their mark. "Graffiti left behind by Taliban fighters remains on the walls of a compound now used as a command center for the U.S Marine Corps's First Battalion, Eighth Marines at Musa Qala in southern Afghanistan's Helmand province, November 10, 2010.Musa Qala is an important battleground in the war against Taliban insurgents and the narcotics industry. The town has changed hands several times, most recently in December 2007 when Afghan and international forces retook the town from the Taliban."
