Metal God - Max Cavalera

Damn is it always a good night when Max Cavalera invades your town. Whether you have been bangin' your head to his music back in the Sepultura days, or to Soulfly or most recently with the Cavalera Conspiracy it stands apart from everything else. One aspect that I truly enjoy is the drumming with it's definitive latin and tribal flavored beats. Its raw and cerebral at the same time. Max is truly in touch with his metal warrior blood so do yourself a flavor and crank it up. Wish I could just go back in time and see Sepultura again with Pantera.

Finally got all the electrical issues resolved and the cafe racer is sounding killer. Got love what a custom 12 inch Cherry Bomb muffler can do to a 4 into 1 stock Honda pipe. Its got some throat and solid back pressure.

Buell Racing - Alive Again

It warms my heart to know that Erik Buell is building motorcycles again. Surely the omnipresent Harley Corporate machine wouldn't let too much out the door besides their foot when they booted the brand, along with MV Augusta, but its a start. The new site states that these bikes are for track only and may not be registered to ride on the street. We all know how that works though, and luckily they are selling the parts, gotta love it. Here's to Buell's innovations over the years and the dedication to keep moving forward, we salute you.

Protect Yourself From Road Gear

If you spend any time in a van on tour surely you can comprehend the daily Tetris game of sorting out drums, amps, guitars and various gear. Never is it exactly the same fit and sure enough it always slides around. With the newest road war machine in hand we felt it was time to get things up to snuff. A quick run to Lowe's was in order and I was able to pick up 7 pieces of half inch rebar in 10 foot lengths. With this amount I figured I could make up some sort of structural wall to keep gear from sliding around. Took a few hours but it was a quick fix and will allow us to have a firm structure to store gear around and it didn't break the budget at $35 in materials.

Club Bikes

No matter which way you shake it, club styled bikes are meant to run like a raped ape. As anyone who has ever ridden in an urban environment with lane splitting, your bike has to be narrow, lean and reliable. Personally, this style of bike is one of my favorites, a personal ride and a testament to the basic fundamental of function over form. When I was lane splitting in six lanes of traffic at high speeds I knew the mechanics of my ride would not let me down. Many of these styles of bikes are not completely custom but are more or less refined to a riders needs, creating a killer mix of mad max and high performance.

Custom Guitar

Another project on one of my other workbenches is a custom guitar for my pal Rory Kelly in Crank County Daredevils. The model is an Epiphone Explorer made by Gibson. What my plans are is to etch designs into the wood with a dremel and engraver leaving a slightly deeper recess in which I can put a stain and then top coat with a gloss varnish. Should create a killer finish and be a bitchin' custom guitar.

The Buell Is Finally On The Workbench

Finally got the Buell Cyclone up on the new workbench, donated by Josh over at Wrench Works, thanks hombre. Now I can really see the lines I want to reconfigure and get this build cooking. Its gonna be a long process as I have so many other projects cooking but at least its started. Working on sketches for the sheet metal and new fairing pieces and going to change up the stance, by pulling things in a bit tighter. Also working on designs for a new center stand that links up with the swingarm. Thats going to require some engineering...

Dedication - Hand Tattoos

When I see a person with a hand tattoo its pure dedication. Its just like the quote I heard from Rob Zombie in an interview one time, "No one is a Slayer fan for just one summer". Its about knowing who you are as an individual and knowing that whatever you put on your body its going to be there forever unless you decide to take the even tougher route and have it laser removed. This goes out to you Rory Kelly, for believing in the three other individuals that make up the band for which you guys invest your life's blood. Even cooler aspect is that I drew the iconic logo as a reflection of who they are individually and myself as a whole. Lots o' symbolism involved into one distinctive mark. Rock on fellas, can't wait to get back on tour.

Multi Purpose Guns

I think each one of these guns exemplifies different tactical uses. If you are per say a crack shot and have the utmost confidence in your pistol accuracy and after said shot is taken you feel the need to refresh the air from the powder burn, then this is for you. On the other hand if you feel the need to be a one man army that could raid any ship, take on anyone in a street fight or simply scare the shit out of any neighborhood thug, try the other two. Needless to say, I think I might be in the market.
