Tron Light Cycle Custom Build

As many times as I think about this bike being unrideable, I still look at it with pure engineering interest. Those damn wheels are just too damn cool. Knowing the amount of thought and critical reasoning that went into the build is worth seeing these hubless wheels spin. Its a letdown to see how immovable the bike is while turning, but its a damn cool concept and could open up a lot of other doors for innovation.

Speedfest Holland - ANTiSEEN

For all the folks in northern Europe, if ya can get out to Eindhoven, Holland this week for speedfest, do so. Our boys in Antiseen will be there and crushing it. Looks like a great package they put together and I sure as hell know that Airbourne and Life Of Agony are gonna be great as well.

Dresch Motorcycle - Tim Bradham's Chassis Works

Here is something that is quite interesting and a damn amazing project in the works. Tim is a custom builder, fabricator and hot rod enthusiast generally specializing in four wheeled construction. Being an individual that continually seeks out new challenges, a customer walked in one day, aptly named Dresch and asked if he could build a vintage Dresch inspired bike based on the lesser known French Motorcycle company that operated from 1923 to 1948. Dresch's motorcycles ranged from 98cc single-cylinder machines to 750cc four-cylinder models.

Tim's clients Dresch is powered by a single cylinder BMW donor bike for the engine and wheels. This bike is being built from scratch and will be unlike anything else out there. Hell, isn't that the gist of a custom build, instead of the general notion of assembly from a catalog. Congrats are in order to figuring out this visual puzzle with no original parts to scope out, no concrete numbers on frame specs and nothing but a donor bike and an idea.

Green Lady Killers - Sneak Peak Of New Video

A few weeks we embarked on a road trip over to Nashville to work on our first ever video with the label. Mike Ashcraft of Thumbin' Sleazoid Cinema is the creative pro behind the mini movie we were shooting and damn is that guy good. Have a look at a quick clip of the song "My .45" and realize how cool this video is going to be. Short film, live sequences and one hell of a gun fight.

Art Basel Miami & Ducati

Give it up for the fellas over at Dime City, once again they have come through shining. Not only were they just featured in Cafe Racer TV, now they are invading Miami with their Brass Cafe. Another highlight is that the director of PR and Clubs for all of Ducati happens to be quite the fan of Rusty Knuckles. All we can say is hells yeah!!! We are more than ready to take any Ducati for a test ride to give our assessment.

Read more below on Duncan Quinn's Art Basel Miami

"Dashing designer Duncan Quinn, known for his roguish take on Savile Row style, is giving Miami's Art Basel a glamour injection courtesy of an ultra-cool pop-up boutique (above) opening today. Following the success of his lavish space at last year's festival complete with an indoor croquet pitch, this year's digs in the Design District's Moore Building are a veritable dandy's den of stylish iniquity, complete with a full-fledged casino, vintage sports cars, cocktails, a screening room showing classic Michael Caine films, and of course plenty of razor sharp threads. Designed with a Casino Royale theme that would make James Bond himself hot under the collar, guests can take advantage of a bespoke lounge with Dormeuil fabrics, an installation of Ruby couture motorcycle helmets from France, cocktails from the mixologists at the Florida Room, and several limited edition items including the new line of Duncan Quinn sunglasses, polo shirts, jackets and more. Classic cars and motorbikes on display in the space include a 1954 Jaguar XK120, vintage Ducatis and Triumphs and Dime City Cycles' "Brass Café" Racer.

About Curing Kid’s Cancer:

Grainne and Clay Owen created Curing Kids’ Cancer only a year after losing their nine-year-old son Killian to leukemia. Grainne was the driving force behind starting the charity. She launched Coaches Curing Kids Cancer during an appearance on the 2004 WSB Care-a-thon raising money for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The idea: Asking kids’ sports teams to donate money in honor of their coach instead of buying a gift. Coaches didn’t go without a gift however. In return for a donation, coaches were sent a t-shirt and a personalized certificate. “I hoped that we could raise $5,000 that first season,” Grainne said. “We raised $45,000 – and knew we had a great idea on our hands.” Grainne has raised more than $1 million since that time.

Space Age Sportster

Just when you thought you had seen it all or are ready to move on to the next phase of custom builds away from everything pre-1980, comes a futuristic ride from France. Thanks to Cyril Huze Blog for posting this bike, as its truly incredible. Whether or not you dig the aesthetics, its a feat of engineering to make things fit as tight as this and with such flow. From the clean lines of the fins on the jugs to the hidden exhaust exits this build has taken serious thought and planning and it shows.
