Axel, Will and Jeff are going to be rockin' the crowds this weekend at the Ride For Lightning and here is a skate deck they put together for the Raffle. Bad Fuckin' Ass!!!!! The Speed Kings on Myspace
I have yet to get my photos uploaded just yet and still whooped after a long weekend of traveling out to San Diego and helping out the west coast team of Rusty Knuckles that put on the Rumble. That being Jake Doomey and Lance Dawes, who went all out to make a amazing event, without one glitch. We were able to bring the heat from our end with Hellbound Glory headlining the event and The Green Lady Killers ripping the high desert air a new glory hole. With Matt Hensley as DJ for the event, the whole music vibe was locked down solid, as he spun classic punk tunes. Only disappointment was Duane Peters not showing up to play, but that will be for another time. Check out these photos from ESPN and some footage as well from shred or die dot com. Damn, another rumble down and more good times to be had.
After watching "the dude" play a country singer in a movie a while back I just couldn't get enough of the soundtrack as it was real country. Low and behold one of the bit actors in said film was also a major contributor to the soundtrack. Ol' Ryan Bingham just released a new album not too long ago that is just as full of grit and character as any John Wayne movie. This dude has a flow about his songs that lull you into a high desert kind of mindset in which its a never ending sunset on a long highway that you just don't want to run out of gas on. Pick up his latest album Junky Star on Lost Highway Records as its one I know will be played over and over and over.
Bravo to our pal Josh over at Wrench Works for his killer bike getting a solid feature in the latest issue of Wrench Works. The bike has more trick details than can be presented by this one article and begs to be seen in person. With meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the build process, this bike is a show room custom that is ridden like it was stolen. The engine is just a draw dropper in sound and performance along with the articulate and race ready controls. Damn proud to have seen this bike come together over the last year into such a fine piece of functional machinery which defies being any specific "type" of chopper.
Not too long ago, that being this past April, we hosted our first bike event called the Revenge Run. The turn out was huge and the overall response was nothing but positive. Next weekend, we embark on our next mission called the Ride For Lightning. What are you waiting for, get your ticket to ride! All photos by Dawes...
This is truly an inspiring set of short documentaries hosted by Johnny Knoxville about the steadfast attitudes of the people of Detroit and their journey towards rebuilding the city. The rich cultures of music and the atuo industry is a true American legacy and one these folks continue to enrich.
Been cranking out a lot of new merch designs here lately and this is the next shirt and patch about to ready for the mighty Antiseen. Clayton and I have been going over a plethora of ideas for new imagery and we have some great projects coming up. This rabid bear is going to be called "Primal Roar" and will be damn fittin' for Antiseen.
Here is a sneak peak at the art just finished up for the new show on Discovery HD called Cafe Racer. The shirts will be sold in the Cafe Racer TV Store and in the Rusty Knuckles Store.
