Motor Rock - Japanese Customs

Gotta tip my hat, once again to Trent Rekker over at BikerMetric.com as he broadcast's a great site with amazing bikes. First glance at this fine piece of machinery clues any viewer in quickly that this bike is built and not just assembled from a parts book or retro fitted from a swap meet. The craftsmanship is top notch and seeing the bike in minimalist form shedding any want of paint is pure style. Dig into the builds of Motor Rock, its just superb and will definitely keep ya coming back.

She Rides - Welcome To The Team

Yep its official, the rowdy fellas from She Rides are officially joining Rusty Knuckles Music. After seeing their killer set at Headhunters in Austin during last year's SXSW, I was flat out blown away. Welcome the fellas to the team and hear their killer new single, Buy The Ticket. The brand new ep will be released world wide on cd and through itunes in February and available soon exclusively through our webstore.

She Rides Bio
Who cares what "says" rock and roll, what screams rock and roll is a band covered in blood and sweat. A band playing so hard that it seems they want pyrotechnics at the end of their set made of their bodies and instruments exploding into a hail of shrapnel aimed at an audience that needs to see no more once this spectacle is done. A band that knows that you don't need a million mile an hour song to drive your car way to fast. All you need is great riffs played loud with a live fast die young attitude. So many bands mistake fast for intensity, not so with Providence, RI.'s own sweat and alcohol fueled rock monsters SHE RIDES. Formed in 2006 SHE RIDES combines desperately dangerous vocals with big riff upon big riff of screaming guitars over what can only be described as the pounding of a driving music rhythm section. SHE RIDES sounds like if "Radar Love" had been written about drugs and sex and was being played as the theme music for Armageddon. On SHE RIDES swath of rock and roll destruction they have desecrated stages with the likes of GALLOWS, CANCER BATS, EVERY TIME I DIE, DISFEAR, VALIENT THORR, and THE BRONX and released 2008's S/T full length on STILLBORN RECORDS. SHE RIDES is what Bon Scott would have sounded like if he knew he was having his last drink. They are the beat that John Bonham would play if he knew the same thing and they shred like the riff Randy Rhoads would have played if he knew his plane was going down. That's what music is all about for SHE RIDES, playing rock and roll like its the last thing they'll do before the crash and burn. Look for new material and tours for SHE RIDES from 2010 until the wheels come off and the fiery debris rains down in the cleansing of rock and roll.

ANTiSEEN News Update

Found out about this site called kickstarter from my pal Mike over at Thumbin Sleazoid Cinema and its goal is to help kickstart projects through donations. Understanding full well how things need to be bootstrap funded to work on creative projects makes this site even more interesting. Check out these guys using kickstarter to help get funding for a film about the Do It Yourself crowd in manufacturing. Bravo to them, as seeing this further solidifies the good times that can be had working in the shop. I can now hear my race bike begging to be worked on, damn quality way to spend time on a late Friday afternoon.

Classic Thrash Metal

Last night an amazing tour made a stop in town and thrash metal was the choice dish served up. Finally I got to see Forbidden after years of missing them along with new comers Evile out of England. Both bands killed it, but the headliner brought a stadium show to which will go down as one of the best sets I have seen in quite a while. The legendary Overkill stole the show and deservedly so. Their brand of Jersey thrash metal has been going strong for over 25 years and I was sure as hell stoked to hear Hello From The Gutter, brought me back a few years before hardcore and punk became my mainstay. Here are three choice cuts from the bands, as it was truly a great night of pure thrash metal.

Where It All Started

Knowing that veterans day has come and passed, it's no reason to just forget about those who have served bravely for our country. With a family that has been a part of the fabric of the United States since its inception, I am proud to call myself American. When our family came to this soil in the early 1640's, to the days we live in now, our family has seen all this country has been through and battled through the Revolutionary War, the Civil War and the great wars of the 1900's. Through it all, this nation is our home and the embodiment of freedom to which every individual has the right to live, on their own terms. Here is a shout out to all the veterans of our family that served to help create this great nation, in which we are proud to call home. I especially want to thank Chief and Uncle Billy, for serving in the Navy and bringing me into the world of motorcycles. Without your love of two wheels, where the hell would I be? Thanks fellas, for the Waters fighting spirit and the love of the open road.
