This short film by Jamtron has been making its way around all the bike blogs and is a definite must to check out if you have yet to see it. As time moves forward and projects pile up, we all know of someone that could use some extra help getting an old machine running again. That is what camaraderie is all about along with having good friends. Ahem, fellas the '51 chevy ain't gonna build itself, need some extra help in the coming weeks, haha!

1969 Mustang Built Out Of Paper

Al Jourgensen came up with some clever lyrics on one of Ministy's older albums stating that "The mind is a terrible thing to taste". Is the analytical mind a bit more wore in and gamier than say an unused mind? Maybe a few cannibals can answer this question and get back to us. Either which way you think on it though, a mind such as the one employed by Jonathan Brand is damn hard at work coming up with creative solutions. Dig through these photos and the video and maybe throw on another song by Ministry such as "Jesus Built My Hotrod" to get into this bad ass project.

In his latest work One Piece at a Time, Brooklyn artist Jonathan Brand has constructed every single part of a 1969 Mustang coupe at 1:1 scale out of nothing but paper. Using digital drawings as a source, he printed the blueprints with a large-format inkjet printer. The components were then meticulously cut out and folded into a wide range of objects including spark plugs, nuts and bolts, a radiator, and even the individual tire treads. The final work will not be assembled into an entire vehicle, but rather displayed as loose miniature sculptures. You can see many more photos of the wheels and motor on his website, but for the full effect you’ll need to stop by Hosfelt Gallery in New York, September 20-October 29. (via ex-chamber)

Evolution of Music - Statistics

Cool video created by pr and social media firm SimplyZesty talking about the evolution of music through statistics, found on mashable.com

"PR firm SimplyZesty manages to cram the evolution of digital distribution into a punchy three-minute video. Starting in 1970, the video tracks the rise of digital sales, the fall of vinyl, piracy and major milestones like Michael Jackson’s video for “Billie Jean” and the most expensive guitar ever sold (a Fender Stratocaster for $2.7 million). In truth, the video is less the “evolution” of music and more an interactive infographic that highlights the uncomfortable balance between the music industry and its digital challengers. The video clearly serves to hype SimplyZesty’s ability to make cool videos, but it’s also a nice little rip through how drastically different the music industry now is."

She Rides - Narragansett Beer Band Of The Week

Need any more reasons to drink beer and listen to rock n' roll? Alcohol and rock n' roll go together like white on rice and we are damn proud to see that She Rides got voted as band of the week over at Narragansettbeer.com.

"We are a band. We are proudly sponsored by Narragansett beer.” Well then what more do you need to know. That about sums up rock ‘n roll the best way we know. She Rides is one of Providence’s finest hardcore punk rock and roll bands and they are playing tomorrow night at the Whiskey Republic with KnifeParty.  It’s only 5 bucks as it should be and from the looks of it, promises to be one hell of a Gansett slingin’ party."

Femme Fatale Of The Week - Stacy Keibler

How could we not notice the beauty that is Stacy Keibler. It seems as though George Clooney might have his paws on this femme fatale, but not too long ago you could also see her in the WWE making mince meat of the other ladies. Ladies that claws their way to the top is always good in our book and look forward to many more femme fatales week to week.
