Hand Printed Chopper 2012 Calendars By Ocho Loco Press

The further along we progress into this thing called life, we are continually amazed about some of the folks that we know and can call friends. I was fortunate to have met John, the creator of these prints, through a few friends back in San Francisco and we ended up runnin' into one another of course through mutual motorcycle brethren and struck up an acquaintance. Every year I would see him down at Flatstock in Austin for SXSW and would always dig seeing the new work and we talked on eventually getting a project together.

Well folks, that day has come and this is the first collaboration between Ocho Loco Press and Rusty Knuckles. So if you dig choppers and want to have your calendar on the wall along with some killer screened art, hand cut into rubylith separations done the old fashioned way, then this is right up your alley. These are limited to 100 prints and one hundred only. All are numbered so once they are gone, you will have to wait for next years calendar and or poster to be cooked up.

We are stoked beyond belief at the killer prints and to work with John over at Ocho Loco Press. Yeah, ok, now we are just going to stare at these for a while. The calendars are printed on wood panel and measure 17.75" x 9" so they are a great size and will grace many a wall for years to come.

Ocho Loco Press and Rusty Knuckles Team Up

Life is amazing when things come together easily. Every year during SXSW we go down to the poster show and see what new poster works are out, but primarily we go to see one of our biker brethren over at Ocho Loco Press. John is there every year and without fail, his work stands out amongst all the other printers and designers.

We could go on and on about why we dig the work of Ocho Loco Press but what we enjoy most is the simplicity in the designs and that they are all done by hand. Yes, you heard it right, they are all done by hand. John hand cuts the rubylith and creates the positive images for printing then prints the images on wood. It is this steadfast craftsmanship and focus on quality design that we are damn proud to be working with him on several new projects.

For this fall will have a few new products available through us exclusively from Ocho Loco Press, so have a look at the first image being worked up. This will be printed on wood as a poster and calendar while also being available on garments as well. Stay tuned for more updates on this killer new project and a few other shirt designs coming from Ocho Loco Press.

Ocho Loco Press - Custom Wooden Prints

Every year at SXSW we head over to Flat Stock to keep an eye on whats shakin' in the poster world. The lone wolf in this rehashed bunch though is a fellow patron saint of two wheels, who runs Ocho Loco Press. He was living in San Francisco for a long time and that is where we originally met up through common friends at a local bike shop.

For several years now, we always stop by his booth at Flat Stock and see whats new with his prints. We finally convinced John that it would be a great idea to do a line of tshirts with us bearing the Ocho Loco Press designs and trademark style of rubylith hand cut printing. Yes, you heard that right, John is an amazing craftsman and does all of his separations by hand and using an exacto to cut out the film. This is true dedication on many levels and we look forward to producing a few shirts with him this year.
