Todd McLellan's Photos In Motion

Tinkerers we all may be, but how well do we really understand how a camera works? Leave it to a photographer who enjoys gadgetry to create some amazing pictures of items with a plethora of moving parts. Taking things apart and putting them back together has been a life long hobby of ours and seeing the work of someone such as Todd McLellan takes tinkering to another level visually. His photos seem quite scientific in their approach and then the explosion of parts images seem to be a sort of cubist series of paintings in which hyper reality is the real medium of choice. Really dig the work and check out his site.

New Falcon Black Vincent Motorcycle Photos and...Rusty Metric

Read below the write up from the Editor of a new project called "Rusty Metric". We think yall will be quite intrigued... Much more comin' at ya in the coming weeks.

"you read it right, mofos. i have an in-depth interview with ian and amaryllis from falcon motorcycles coming at you. i suggest you brush your face and wash your teeth afterward or call a porn producer.

you've read my interviews. they have nothing on this one. you all have questions. i asked them and have the answers. it took six months, motherfuckers. it was trust hard fought for and i'm excited to meet them in september. don't think it's a puff piece, either. that's why it took six months.

now, you might believe i am full of shit. i am 'cause i usually poop in the morning and it's past midnight, but that isn't the point. unless i squeeze just right. here is your proof:

what the hell is RUSTYMETRIC and who the fuck is lance dawes? and how come i haven't seen this picture somewhere else online by now?

lance is a kickass photographer. RUSTYMETRIC is the online magazine my partner rusty knuckles and i will be launching soon to freak you out. and you haven't seen that pic because lance is our man and falcon gave him entrance into their magical realm.

it's exclusive. motherfuckers.

the dns servers for RM will be working tomorrow. not now. now is me telling you my world domination scheme is one step closer to, um... WORLD DOMINATION.

in addition to the incredibly revealing interview with the folks at falcon, there are other columns filled with such things that you cannot imagine and all of it is coming in the first issue of RUSTYMETRIC. the best part is that we're doing it digital, not in print. finger that out and save a tree, your money, and take your laptop to the can more often.

the pix will be in color. that falcon black - jesus forgive my soul and let me live - is coming in color. in person, it is not something you can understand until you are there in the room, looking at it up close, touching the machine and it's infinite custom fabs on it saying "i haven't had that much to drink, come on!"

let me ride it!

now, pretend you are a man. look in the mirror, then look back at bikerMetric, then back in the mirror. bikerMetric is only a facade for an evil world domination scheme and it smells like a man on a motorcycle. diving into a pool. eating cheese from a pitchfork. fucking your woman because you're too busy looking at bikerMetric."

Macallan Masters of Photography

Woody Allen is famously quoted as saying "half of life is just showing up". This can be true for most everything and being at the right place, the right time and of course add in the setting and its a true convergence for something great to happen.

A convergence on this level happened many times on our roll out to Vegas and Chris over at Downshift Studios was there to catch the action behind the lens. Peep Big Scott's "Hovercraft" rollin' across the desert in Arizona and vote on it over at Macallan's Master Class in Photography to grant Chris some more braggin' rights.

Vote for the "Hovercraft" at the Macallan Masters of Photography

The Master Class in Photography, from Macallan's site:

"To celebrate the launch of the Albert Watson edition of The Masters of Photography and his visual interpretation of the journey of our exceptional oak casks we are proud to introduce the first Macallan Masterclass.

We would like you to upload your finest photographs with the theme of “Great Journeys”. It could be from your travels or a special moment showing a passage of time from one stage to another.

The top twenty photographs, as voted for by the public, will be judged by Albert Watson who will select a first, second, third and a highly commended entry."
