1974 Harley-Davidson RR350 RARE-350,1 Of 25 Built
Ebay never fails to yield more treasures than the Smithsonian National Museums. Here is an amazing find by Josh over at Wrench Works. Its an über rare 1974 Harley Davidson RR350 which is one of twenty five ever built. Below are all the details on it directly from the posting.
HARLEY DAVIDSON BADGED, AERMACCHI FACTORY GRAN PRIX ROAD RACER
FIRST YEAR, BUILT FOR THREE YEARS ONLY, AND APPROX. 25 WERE BUILT IN THOSE THREE YEARS.
FACTORY BUILT, WATER COOLED, TWIN
CYLINDER, 2-STROKE, GRAN PRIX RACER, WHICH IS THE ONLY TIME HARLEY HAD
EVER HAD THEIR NAME ON THE WINNING PODIUM IN GP EVENTS WAS WITH THIS
MACHINE. MANY MORE OF THE RR250'S WERE BUILT, APPROX. 250 UNITS, WHICH
WAS ALSO A RACE WINNER FOR HARLEY.
THIS MACHINE WAS RESTORED A NUMBER OF
YEARS BACK OVER IN EUROPE, MACHINE IS MATCHING #'S-MOTOR# 350/2C/2T
10027, AND SAME ON THE FRAME. CASE #'S MATCHING #2, AND #20.CERIANI

Collectors Weekly - Search For Vintage and Antique
Collectors Weekly took us by complete surprise as another article got our attention and we happened to click on a link talking about collections. Well damn, low and behold we stumbled onto a goldmine of a site or a search quandary that will take up much more of your time. Entirely up to you, but our first searches started out with music as we perused some vintage vinyl, then we wandered over to posters and then we really got stuck. Yes, go ahead and do it, click on search "Motorcycles" and damn if you won't pull up some great info. Don't blame us for your new addiction, we are just posting what we find to be clever and interesting...
