MotoBunny Joins Rusty Knuckles Music, Featuring Members of the Woolly Bandits and The Love Me Nots

MotoBunny joins Rusty Knuckles Music and will release their debut album in 2015

 

Rusty Knuckles Music has grown over the last five years to rally around quite a few distinct tones in the sonic delivery of what we call American Roots. Jangly garage rock is one of those areas which is truly defining as a distinct sound honed out of the mid 1960's and helped to define what we know as punk rock . Whether it be the fuzzed out catchiness of  The Sonics, the explosive lives shows with the MC5, the raw element in early White Stripes albums or one of our all time favorites, the DirtBombs out of Detroit, Garage Rock is truly part of the soundscape of American Roots. 

Without further ado, please welcome MotoBunny to Rusty Knuckles Music. Their debut single "MotoBunny" will launch on November 11th via Itunes along with their brand new video on youtube and vimeo. Read on below to find out more on the band and what exactly they are all about.

Green Lady Killers - Ink & Iron Invasion 2011

This past weekend The Green Lady Killers, also known as ‘the grace of Rusty Knuckles’,

tore up the stage at the 8th annual Ink-N-Iron Tattoo & Kustom Kulture Festival in

Long Beach, CA. This world class festival brings together a perfect combination of our

favorite things: tattoo lifestyle, custom hot rods, and rock n roll. The band line up this

year was impressive and headliners included the Buzzcocks, Detroit Cobras, The Sonics,

The Vandals, Anti-Flag, The Adolescents, Fishbone & Skatalites.

With the Queen Mary cruise ship and Long Beach harbor as their backdrop, The Green

Lady Killers delivered a powerful rock n roll wake up at high noon on Sunday to heavily

inked festival goers. Performing on the Tiki stage set amongst a sea of amazing custom

hot rods, the ladies had the crowd shakin by the end of their set adding more converts to

the church of GLK, and were thrilled to see dedicated fans & friends that had made the

trek to Long Beach just for their show.

For anyone that may have attempted to see GLK perform at Ink-N-Iron this past

Saturday evening at 6pm, we are very sorry that due to measures beyond our control,

our performance on Saturday was cancelled. So, if you missed out on The Green Lady

Killers this past weekend, don’t fret cause they will be rockin The Rumble Festivals in

Barona, CA, on September 10, and Raleigh, NC, on October 15, 2011 - tickets on sale

this Friday, June 17,
