American Roots UK Gives Peewee Moore Tremedous Review On Hs Latest Album

Read the fantastic review over on AmericanRootsUK.com

"This is Peewee Moore's third tremendous album of modern 'Outlaw country.' I use the word 'modern' simply to distinguish him from the 'old timers' Bobby, Willie, Waylon, etc. because there are differences despite Peewees close stylistic links. The big thing is that his music has a total lack of sanitization whilst the other three, at least early in their careers, were dictated to by the record companies, as a consequence of which, whilst they were always edgy, some of that record company way of doing things can't have failed to have smoothed off some of the harsh edges. This is not the case with Peewee's music, which on occasions is raw and edgy but at the same time incredibly melodic despite a hardness that adds an aggressive and at times slightly threatening nuance to his work.

New Tshirt Design For Outalw Country Artist Peewee Moore

New Tshirt Design For Outalw Country Artist Peewee Moore
Creating new artwork for a shirt design and to represent a band can be quite the challenge. Many times, we postulate on ideas for months at a time and then an idea will work it's way out onto the paper. We have been thinking on a solid design for the release of country artist Peewee Moore's new album for quite some time now. After some research and a lot of sketches, we have come up with our first design for him and hope to see it far and wide.

Peewee Moore, Featured In The LA Weekly For Real Country Music

Peewee Moore featured in the LA Weekly
"Not only does Pee Wee Moore make some seriously traditional honky tonk reminiscent of Ernest Tubb, he also just so happens to tour the country on a motorcycle. That’s how the modern day cowboy does it."

Truth is in the stories you actually live out. Peewee Moore is touring the country now on a motorcycle and proving why he is an artist to be on the lookout for. His grit and integrity are equally matched by his chops on the six string. Ride safe hombre!

Huge thanks to the LA Weekly for the feature on him along with Lindi Ortega, The Boomswagglers, Jamey Johnson, Dallas Moore, Joseph Huber and a few more.

Husky Burnette And His Electrified Resonator Guitar

AJ of Diamondback Stringworks with Husky Burnette's resonator preparing for surgery

Last year I scored a great endorsement deal with Diamondback Stringworks. They build anything from cigar boxes to mandolins to electric and acoustic guitars... even built a custom banjo/dobro hybrid. First, they built me a custom Telecaster-style guitar equipped with a vintage Epiphone humbucker pickup I gave them to make it right for my guitar tone. After really getting to know A.J. Hancock (owner) I've seen how great and on-point his work is.

Not only have I made my Diamondback Tele-style my #1 guitar for standard tuning on stage, I've also taken almost every guitar I use on a regular basis to him for repair and/or for him to customize. This kid is 20 years old and one of the best luthiers I've ever ran across. Pretty crazy. If he's this good now, at 20 yrs old, who knows what the future may hold for him.

He's built guitars for a few Rusty Knuckles artists already: Myself, Peewee Moore (Peewee and I got our endorsements/guitars at the same time) and J.B. Beverley. Other artists he's built for include the great Steve Earle, James Hunnicutt and more.

Two new guitars about to be customized
Here's some pictures I took at the Diamondback Stringworks shop in Tennessee this week. I took my National metal-body resonator guitar to him to electrify the thing. He wound a custom humbucker pickup for it and installed it so now I'm electrified, which opens new doors and possibilities for this guitar. This thing sounds amazing (it's a National, of course it does!) but, he wound the pickup to 1956 Les Paul specs so it's as thick and warm as it can get when plugged in to an amp. Perfection.

Also, I've included a picture of my next two guitars he's customizing: the electric is a Zim-Gar (mid '60's Jap guitar) given to me by my uncle. My very first guitar. It's the guitar I learned my first chord on so it has some meaning. A.J. is making it playable again with all new electronics, a custom lipstick tube pickup and some cosmetic work; the acoustic is a Johnson and A.J. will be winding a custom pickup and mounting it.

Don't take it from me, go check out Diamondback Stringworks' builds and quality products for yourself, like them on facebook, etc. They have a new line of acoustic guitar builds in the works right now so be on the lookout for those as well!

Buzzoven
The fire and the fury that is Buzzoven has found a new home at Rusty Knuckles Music
Buzzov*en was a sludge metal band from North Carolina, formed in 1989 by the remaining members of Sewer Puppet by guitarist/vocalist Kirk Fisher (often credited on releases as "Reverend Dirtkicker"). The band was known for being one of the founders of the sludge genre (after Eyehategod), and also for their out-of-control and violent live shows. The band in its early days toured heavily around the United States and built up a cult following leading up to the release of their first full-length, To a Frown, in 1993, which caught the attention of Roadrunner Records, who released the band's second album Sore in 1994. The band was dropped by Roadrunner, and from then on have gone through several periods of being split-up and reformed, with the only constant member having been Kirk Fisher. Dave Collins who now heads sludge legends Weedeater and Ramsey has gone on to join fellow sludgers Sourvein.

Bloodwitch
Bloodwitch is set to release the album "Tell Your God To Ready For Blood"

BLOODWITCH, the Boston/Providence-based band featuring current members of SEEMLESS and former members of KILGORE. According to the band's official bio, "BLOODWITCH was formed in 2007 by SEEMLESS guitarists Pete Cortese and Jeff Fultz. Pete had begun writing songs for their anticipated third album and found that many of the tunes just didn't fit right for SEEMLESS. What had emerged was a combination of influences from the golden age of British heavy metal, the early style of Bay Area thrash metal, the boogie of AC/DC and ZZ TOP, with the dual guitar harmonies of THIN LIZZY. With the quality of songwriting, Cortese was able to enlist ex-KILGORE vocalist Jay Berndt and ex-KILGORE drummer Bill Southerland into the fold. Rounding out the five-piece is producer and keyboard player for Worcester metal band FROZEN, Pete Rutcho on bass guitar."

BLOODWITCH music focuses on Berndt's lyrical interpretation of a war-hungry society and the band's modern delivery of classic metal. Stay tuned for the new album entitled
"Tell Your God To Ready for Blood".

The Go Devils
The Go Devils will be releasing a stellar album in mid 2014 with Rusty Knuckles Music
The Go Devils create a unique and original infusion of roots, rockabilly, punk, country, swing, and psychobilly." Heartfelt and profound lyrics and top notch song writing are showcased along side music that is melodic and driving, high energy and catchy as hell." Running strong for 4 years and blazing a trail throughout the southeast, This power trio are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with in the developing underground roots music scene, and offer a spectacle of a live show that you would be sorry you missed. Coming to a town near you... If not, ask and ye shall receive!

Illinois's bastard sons, the Dripping Slits will bring their dirty rock n' roll to Rusty Knuckles Music in 2014
Formed somewhere between yesterday's hangover and today's buzz, Dripping Slits is a raucous blend of rock 'n' roll method and madness hailing from Middle-of-Nowhere, Illinois that is sure to arouse your senses with an overdose of venomous guitar riffs, thundering percussion, and plenty of gutteral groove and grit.
