Was stoked to see Rob Zombie, Hatebreed and Lamb Of God yesterday for the Mayhem Festival. It was a damn good time but way over priced for the concessions. I don't mind paying the money to see the bands but $12 bucks for a beer, gimme a break from the corporate greed. So yes, fuck you Time Warner Cable pavilion of Raleigh, NC with all of your over priced food and drinks and shutting off the drinking fountains on a 96 degree day to pay for water at $4.50. Fuck you once again for also having crappy internet service. Besides the price gouging my lust for all things metal was pleasantly satisfied. Really wish I could have gotten there earlier though to catch 3 Inches of Blood, as I have missed them quite a few times now. But I gotta say, with all the meat and potatoes metal, Rob Zombie never fails to elevate the show as he truly makes it a spectacle. He gets it, being onstage is a show and he runs away with it. With the huge video screens, mad scientist robot stage props and a metal head favorite, FIRE, yes he stole the show. Here is Rob Zombie then and now...
