The way we view advertising, media and visual communication has vastly changed, but it has in essence gone full circle back to the early days of television with branded commercials and to pictographs on smartphones as your apps. Companies are clambering over one another for their voice to be heard and looking for a bit of spice to set their product apart. Our culture now is so ingrained with advertising and using humor to make viral videos stupidly simple with iconic individuals, is one way to be remembered. Laugh all you want but I guarantee you will be thinking on this all day, as I was affected by the virus yesterday.
